"Ground floor apartment behind the distillery and directly across from 10 rubbish bins. To combat the smell, pungent chemical air freshers are used (without success). We only stayed here 2 nights and every morning there was a trash collection. Since it is behind the distillery, many trucks also passed right by our front window. Also had issues with our door locking but the lovely cleaning ladies helped coordinate. Very central location in oban. Metered lot and metered street parking close-by....

"We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. Most important the staff were just so helpful, they could not do enough. We are already recommending to friends."
