"This is our third year in a row renting this cabin. We enjoy the quiet and relaxing cove. It is a good distance from the town, so make sure you take what you need. The boat dock is GREAT and accommodates our ski and Jon boat. We bring our paddleboard and enjoy paddling through this cove. The owners have 2 kayaks you can use as well. "

"Property was clean and provided everything we could have needed; perfect size for our family of five. The view from the deck was beautiful. Location is close to gas stations, a dollar general and a few restaurants, which was convenient. Gloria (host) was very responsive and helpful! "

"The home was very beautiful, warm, and well decorated. It had everything we needed. We loved the wrap around porch. We had plenty of room to sleep and sit in the living and dining area. Our family did not utilize the provided water equipment because it rained our weekend. Even with cabins in the area the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. The host was very detailed in providing check in and check out instructions and very easy to communicate with. We would love to stay here again. "

"First of all, this place is even better than the pictures. I could not stop squealing with delight as I walked through the space. There are so many cute little details throughout the home. Everything is so thoughtfully done! They even had a fresh bag of ice in the freezer and an air fryer! The more i explored, the more thoughtful things I found! And the dock with the faux grass was a beautiful space to spend with my morning coffee! They even had fishing poles and kayaks (and safety jackets!!)...

"The 7 adults and a Frenchie had such a lovely weekend getaway at this property! The photos don’t really do it justice! Every BR has its own bath (even the loft).Incredible screened in porch on the main level and great firepit area off the entertainment area (smart TV and ping pong table) downstairs with the lake just a stone’s throw away! The hot tub was a perfect end to the evening! The host was super communicative and all the necessities provided.I would definitely stay here again! "

The communication and attention to detail were perfect. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!!"

"Brian was very responsive. Perfect host! We had a fabulous time. Lake access was an easy walk, slightly down the hill. The lake was refreshing to take a swim, kayak, and float. Fishing was nice too. Our Vrbo neighbors stayed at Let’s Go Fishing rental, next to the Captain Bob’s Lake house; we shared the yard with them and they were nice. We relaxed and enjoyed the spaciousness. 3 Bedrooms were on 2nd floor and the King bed was on the 3rd floor. The living area adjacent to the opened bedroom (3rd...

"This property is very peaceful and serene. The little cabin was clean and provided all essentials. When we weren't resting, my mom and I enjoyed visiting the Flat Rock park that was very close by and free to visit. We plan on visiting this cabin and Lake Wedowee again."
