"This is a gem of a hotel in a gem of a city. The property dates back to the early days of Guthrie and has been artfully updated. Our room was spacious and quiet. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The grounds are beautiful. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a piece of history."

"Room was clean. Couch, tables, carpet look like they havent been replaced in 30+ years. Dingy, dirty looking and worn out. Black out curtains looked like a bear attacked them. Had multiple long tears and holes throughout. Electric outlets were very lose from electric box, bath missing a drain plug or any sort. Serious signs of wear and tear on all accessories in the room. More than normal wear and tear."

"The place was clean, well landscaped and manicured. Things were easily accessible and love that the movie theatre was right across the field for added entertainment"

"Breakfast selections were the worst I've ever seen. We stayed with a pet and prepaid for the room to get the best possible price. At that time the web site quoted that pet costs were $50 per pet, per stay. When we arrived I was told the cost would be $75, no exceptions. I had no choice but to pay it."

"The breakfast was fresh and sufficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. Elevator was slow and the single elevator did not effectively accommodate the guest load."

"The evening gal was not friendly at all. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for her and it was an inconvenience when she checked us in. She also had a couple people just hanging around. Opposite for the morning staff they were great. Our room needed some TLC. Shower door would not close, carpet squares coming up and some were not attached. Breakfast was decent. Location was good."
