"Unexpected damage deposit required. Check in process and access to the property was not obvious. Room was ok. Old instant coffee was not good, I had to get coffee bags from a local gas station instead. Location is a ~10 minutes walk from a handful of restaurant places."

Two double bedrooms, very spacious and nice and quiet. Be aware that the rooms are in an apartment style building (bit like Butlins) across the car park. Only 1 pillow each which was very flat so the next day I asked at reception if I could have another two pillows to be told no they only have enough for two pillows in each room so I said I’m sure not every room is booked out can you please sort 2 pillows she said she will have a word with housekeeping and get them sent up. "DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked this property a week in advance and on the day i was told there was no room for me as they did not block out the bookings when they were fully booked. They claimed they had sent a message on the portal “hours in advance” However, prior to my arrival there was no message or attempt to contact myself to let me know that the property was already booked up. "I liked the fact that this not a run of the mill motel It also reminded me so much of the house I lived in from 1959 - 62, not far away at Allesley (sadly gone).This was owned by Jaguar Cars to accommodate student apprentices. We were amazed by the old fireplace in the sitting room, part of one of the old City gates."
