"We stayed one evening as a stop off on our way back to the ukSweet little house. We were charged 6E for towels which were not supplied. We did have beach towels with us which I did tell the owner. We have still been charged for towels. We had to clean the house which was not clean from the previous occupants. We would have been charged 35E for a clean otherwise. We were only staying from 7pm until 9am and out all evening enjoying the town. I did resent cleaning two toilets they were not as clean...

"Excellent house, lovely garden. Beautifully equipped kitchen. Comfortable sitting room. Host very helpful. Wines to purchase in house. Perfect selection of local wines. Good variety. Too cold for us to use pool. Must be great in summer. Immaculately clean. New linens. All very beautifully coordinated. Quiet village. Great shops in Brenne 15 minutes away. One of our party rented a bicycle and did rides in the vicinity We spent time in st emilion for lunches etc. Excellent in every way. "

"This was a lovely villa in a beautiful area. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool- (possibly older teenagers (which we didnt have) may have found it big enough between them?). However, it was perfect for the ages of our children - [four of them aged between 5 and 13]. The location was great for a wine tasting tour of a local vinyard (Carsin Vinyard - really informative and friendly), day trips to St Emillion and back to Bordeaux twice. Great supermarket nearby...
