"We absolutely loved our week at the Green Shutters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the pool, we found the gîte very comfortable, and Gers is definitely an undiscovered gem of a region. And to top it off Ron and Ann are wonderful hosts!"

"The house was very functional and comfortable. A week of very hot weather meant the pool was fabulous. The gardens were spacious and peaceful and there was plenty to visit locally - medieval towns, a Gallo-Roman villa, wonderful markets with delicious fruit and veg. An idyllic week in a very beautiful area of France. And of course cheese and wine galore !"

"Rien à redire sur la maison, mais quelques points a améliorer pour l’extérieur : Seulement 3 transats qui ont déjà bien vécu,pour 8 personnes,pas de lumière extérieure pour manger sur la terrasse,parasol vraiment trop petit et qui a lui aussi bien vécu,aucune explications a l’arrivée contact uniquement par sms avec le propriétaire..Dommage. Personnellement je ne relouerai pas cette maison ."

"Accueil aimable mais expédié, situation isolée et à plus de 2 Kms de Marsolan. Gite rustique, mais manquant d'entretien a l'extérieur, comme l'intérieur, sanitaires notamment ! et odeur de renfermé et d'humidité ! mal isolé. Beaucoup trop de vieux petits meubles dans salon/séjour, dans un espace réduit ! Seule la cuisine est bien équipée ! Pas fait pour de long séjour, surtout quand il fait chaud !! Les photos du salon séjour ne correspondent plus !"

"The property has an extremely homely feel about it, really nicely appointed to create a lovely blend of traditional and contemporary. It is surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroom property. The photos in the listing do not in any way flatter or exaggerate. Jonathan and Isabelle are superb hosts - plenty of communication prior to my visit including precise directions tailored to my journey.
