"I stayed in a room in the main building above the restaurant and it was loud day and night, so long as people were eating. It was if the walls were made with paper, I’m not sure anyone could get a decent rest. I came back from a long day out and wanted a quick day time nap and was woken up by noise from the restaurant. I think the inn is also under staffed. The service was horrible at the bar and restaurant. Staff was slow, we were barely tended to, and they forgot our order once. No attention...

We stayed in room 8 which backed out onto the courtyard behind the pub and had velux windows which you could watch the stars through. "Breakfast was just ok, certainly not really a good value. Rooms are dark, low ceilings, out-updated furniture, etc. All in all, the hotel is good enough, though one may not think of it as a spa like experience, especially when considering that this is one of the attractions/ amenities that they are offering & advertising."
