"A lovely little stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. It's pretty basic but once you've got the heater going, it's lovely. A beautiful lake to look out onto with parking next to you, it's pretty decent. "

"We had a lovely stay at Drake Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, both on the inside and on the outside. Everything is spotless, including the modern appliances. We've stayed at many vacation rentals, but this one is by far the cleanest we've seen. Everything you need is already provided for, including tape, a flashlight, soap, scissors, you name it. There's lots to see and do in and around Saffron Walden. Even a trip to London is only an hour by train from Audley End. We would have loved to stay...

"No 11 is delightful. It is well furnished and extremely comfortable. Andy is a terrific host and very good at communicating. Having the village shop just round the corner is useful and the cottage is conveniently located to explore the area. If you are tall though, you need to remember to duck, as it’s an old cottage (albeit really well renovated) but the doorways and beams are low. "

"Overall great stay. Nice, quite and secure property. Lovely views after a long day at work, it was nice to unwind with a beer and look over the field watching the sun set every night. Huge comfy leather sofas. Was never bothered by the property owner, but any questions or problem was sorted right away. Hes a genuinly nice man.Would stay again. Couple things to note. Upstairs flooring and stairs very creaky.Could'nt use the oven and 3 hobs at the same time without tripping fuse board. Kitchen...

"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."
