"Wonderful stay at La Sauvagette! We loved staying at this comfortable gîte in the gorgeous village of Mortagne-sur-Gironde. Vikki and Andrew were wonderful hosts, very helpful and friendly. The house had everything we needed, clean and well stocked with everything needed for self catering holiday including charcoal BBQ.The garden was lovely with great views across the vineyards. Pool was clean and warm and enjoyed by us all. Plenty of sun loungers and seats. Garden box had inflatables, brollies...

"Très belle maison de caractère décorée avec goût et parfaitement équipée : il ne manque rien. Située dans un écrin de verdure : parc, forêt de bambous , étang , c’est un véritable havre de paix . "...hatten wir in der bezauberndwn Unterkunft von Madame Papa. Das Haus war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Vermietern war wirklich super nett und sehr darum bemüht uns einen schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Auch uns hat sie mit ihren selbstgebackenen Keksen verwöhnt. Der Pool war super und die Umgebung mitten in den Weinfeldern grossartig. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!!"

"We stayed at this beautiful farmhouse with a group of 6 friends, and it was perfect for our group. Each couple had separate quarters and bathrooms, and there was extra room if we wanted to add more. The kitchen was amazing and ready for cooking if desired, and the setting is perfectly situation in the vineyards to explore nearby tastings and villages."

"We primarily visited the area to cycle and to enjoy the wildlife - neither disappointed.We cycled just over 600 miles on extremely quiet roads and paths through varied landscapes.After a days cycling the swimming pool was a real plus.The owners Howard and Liz are on hand with a wealth of local knowledge and treated us with views of wild boar from the patio. The bike was garaged and nothing was too much trouble.We will return."

"Nous avons passé deux belles semaines au milieu des vignes dans lesquelles nous avons pu nous balader. L endroit est tres calme, ideal pour le repos. La piscine est grande et il y a également d autres équipements dans le grand jardin, comme un filet de badmington, une table de ping pong... Catherine et son epoux sont à l ecoute et tres discret. L'hebergement est simple avec les equipements suffisants. Nous le recommandons :)"
