"Very relaxed, easy going place, great location, breezy view of estuary. It's a large room, nice furniture, bedding etc. Bar, very diversely stocked supermarket, resistant and coffee shop downstairs, means you have most things at your fingertips. Beach is 5-10min walk, as is boat hire, (all the fun craft available). I hired a kayak for an hour, very pleasant easy lagoon and estuary paddle.its a short walk from Aluthgama station. Bentota is over the bridge. "

"Very good hotel, but they didn't have a room for us when we arrived, despite our having prepaid for it months in advance. Management dealt with it well by sending us to another hotel for one night. "This house is virtually a step away from the sea and it feels like you have your very own small, private beach. A bit far from the town for bars and restaurants but a good small local restaurant two minutes walk away. Breakfast provided, by a woman that comes to the house and uses the kitchen. Great in one sense but if you really like your privacy note that she does hang around each day for about 3 hours doing cleaning etc..
