"I took my family back to the Uvita area for our first international trip. Mark provided loads of good information and stayed in contact with us and the property manager throughout the trip to address any issues that came up. Beds were comfortable and place was fully stocked. I didn’t want to use the a/c but my family did so it came in clutch :) Great location, close to beaches. "

"O quarto é bom, os colchões são bons, é simples mas com bom custo benefício. Tem ar condicionado que é fundamental na região. A praia tem areia preta e na maré baixa boa para banho, na alta fica um pouco mais agitado. O banheiro é grande e tem água quente. A piscina é excelente. O restaurante é bom, mas na frente do pier no centro tem outro melhor e mais barato."

"Loved the view and the service. So accommodating . Had a very nice view of the ocean and the surroundings were very nice. The only suggestion I would make is that the pool deck is very slippery with or without shoes when it is wet. Had a great time with the staff they were wonderful people. Loved our stay"

"Loved this hotel. Excellent food and service. The view were fabulous, we saw toucans, macaws and humming birds from our terrace. We chose to travel from Sierpe and the boat ride to the hotel was very exciting! Would definitely stay again and hope to come back soon!"

"We loved our stay at Pura Vida Ecolodge. Perfect accommodations for our two couples. Excellent pre-visit packages with lots of information about the property and the surrounding area. We hiked the "hundreds of white steps" trail and it turned out to be 614 steps-give or take-each way. Gersan and Illiana were fabulous! The road is a challenge so believe Joe when he says you need 4WD!"
