"This was my second visit to Strahan. It’s easy to forget how these towns in the west of the state shut down in winter. The hotel has two restaurants and the pub. Both restaurants were closed and there was no suggestion of room service. The only appliance in the room was an electric jug, which meant that, if you want breakfast you have to eat at the bistro. "Our host came out to greet us explained everything in unit. Everything was top notch appliances, bed shower and blower dryer ! Clean and loved the top loader washing machine. Comfy bed and quiet location recommend to all"

"A delightful hotel in a picturesque part of Tasmania. We stayed two nights and enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, playing pool and sitting in front of the fireplace. The hotel has a wonderful ambience and the service provided by Hugo was excellent. We would definitely stay again."
