After the long drive up from Brooklyn, our granddaughters were delighted to find the front parlor filled with toys and games.With family in both Blue Hill and Little Deer Isle, the house was perfectly located. The host did a really good job in communicating with us and was respectful of our privacy. "I was surprised it was close to the road but Penobscot quiets down about 8pm so road noise was not an issue. It was a lovely house to stay in.Very comfortable. Easy to get from there to Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle. The walk down to the beach is lovely and the views across the Bay are always interesting as the tide comes in and out."

"Yes, there is a fairly busy road. BUT this charming home is conveniently located to Acadia NP, Bar Harbor and many other wonderful places to visit. You can get to a trailhead for hiking and cycling on the “quiet side” of 10 minutes up the road. Kimberly leaves many thoughtful details that make the home a comfortable and welcoming place to stay."
