"Excellent stay in Wainui Beach. The location was perfect, just a very short walk from the beach, which made it ideal for watching the sunrise. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. Peaceful area and a great place to relax after a long day of driving. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended."
"This is a fantastic hotel, perfect location, it’s close to everything and has beautiful views of the river. We keep coming back because we just love this hotel, the staff are kind, knowledgeable and they go the extra mile. It’s the perfect location to walk to one of the many great restaurants/cafes in Gisborne. If you’re like walking, this is the perfect spot to start the river, harbour and city walks from. Everything you needed, warm, spacious, quiet, convenient and my czn is still dreaming about the shower pressure 👍
I was looking for the electric blanket on the bed to find that there wasn't one .. being in the middle of winter!
To my surprise I found that what was on the bed was more than ample and there was a spare blanket in the draw.
Have stayed in several other motels there but will definitely return to the Pacific Coast motel when in town."
