"The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. The staff were friendly and always greeted us. They were helpful when we called for assistance with anything we needed to clarify...

"Arrival was difficult - difficulty contacting host, and on arrival they gave us a wrong room and moved us, then needed us to move again for our final night. Each apartment had wifi and a tv, and there was an AC unit in each bedroom. But there were no good instructions about using the place, no maps or helpful tools for visitors, and you needed to hunt for the single soap and 2 towels. Very basic."

"It all started with when we arrived and the hotel staff said we had no reservation. We showed them the printout of our reservation and the would not honor.
The hotel is far from what's in the picture. It's vert dilapidated and unkempt. It smells really bad. To be honest I was planning to just check-in drop my bags and head out in search of another place.
The staff also, could not speak English. My drive from the airport was my saving grace who was there with us and interpreting to them what...
