"Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! "The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They lent us umbrellas for us to use while we stayed there because of the weather conditions. They gave us information on the best places to eat and made us feel at home. While the hotel is not a luxury resort, I was pleasantly surprised how big the hotel room was. It had a separate kitchen and couch and the outside patio was very large with furniture and a hammock. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Costa Rica. "
