"We had a wonderful overnight at Phil & Ann's. First, the room was icy cold when we walked in - someone had thoughtfully put on the AC before we arrived so it would be comfortable. Everything was brand new - new paint, new large Fridge, new towels, etc -- and very clean. The property has a nice pool, plus shuffleboard, large grassy area, a volleyball net and a great fire pit area. Our villa/room had its own large tree and 2 chairs to lounge in, plus a picnic table. We had a great time. ...

"Great location right in the center of Charleston. The hotel history was very unique. Had a fantastic sleep in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner and also a breakfast for ourselves and friends in the morning. Grounds had a flea market that was fun to walk around. Will be back next summer!"

"Really liked this inn — very cozy and home-like. My kid had a great time soaking in the pool, and I loved the hot tub. The room had a great view of the golf course. Breakfast didn’t offer much variety, but considering it was free, I have no complaints."

"This property is so incredible. The staff is great and always helpful. We went for 4th of July weekend and had an awesome time with all of our kids!! It is perfect for walking to the downtown and when you are in need of a break from the busy downtown it is a perfect walk and quiet and peaceful. It is like you are in a completely different place."

"The property was very convenient, close to everything. The location of the hotel was great, Newport was 25 minutes away, and the Scarbough Beach was 9 minutes ago. The Front Desk Receptionist was very welcoming, professional and friendly."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to the beach and many restaurants. It would have been nice to have a room safe in our room and a closet. I assume we had one of the smaller rooms that maybe didn't have a closet. For a weekend stay that was fine, but I wouldn't want to stay a week with nowhere to hang up clothes. But all in all, for a short getaway trip, this was perfect and you sure can't beat the view! "
