"Overall, a lovely century home with older features we would have expected. It definitely suited our purposes for twelve people. However, we left a list of items that would have been helpful as well as safety and fire concerns. Our biggest disappointment was we were assured of a bed on the main floor for our 90 year old mother to stay with us. A mattress taken off a bunk bed and left on the living room floor was not what we expected."

"The house and surrounding were wonderful, as advertised. Loved Victoria by the Sea which was less than 5 min. drive away, visable from the deck, quaint, walkable with a couple of great restaurants. The Cafe in Crapaud (2 min. by car) was lovely, the barristas were excellent and friendly, treats yummy. The Red Rooster, 5 minutes down the highway, had nice breakfasts. "Spacious inside and out, the property met all our needs. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen a good size and adequately equipped and the living area works for large groups. The hot tub and the propane fire pit were wonderful bonuses providing a fun outdoor space overlooking a large yard. Dean was a wonderful host having taken the time to greet us upon arrival and walk us around the property. Plus he was always quick to respond to our questions. All good. Recommended!"

I gave 2 star for listing accuracy, as we thought was on a beach spot and could kayak right from the cottage. This was not the case. This was a legit cabin so creaky floors and old time looking decorations. The view alone would give us reason to book here again. Our kids loved being in the yard and watching the sunset. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. "
