"We enjoyed our trip to this tranquil lake for a New Year getaway. The property is a great location in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood. We enjoyed fishing, campfires and playing ping pong. The views of the sunset are spectacular.We also found a great lakeside restaurant and enjoyed walks at Lake Livingston State Park. So much to do outdoors The kitchen was abundant stocked with everything you need to do some serious cooking should you choose. Missing everyday spices and cooking oils however....

"Overall, our group of 11 adults enjoyed a fun, relaxing weekend. The house was clean and roomy. Suggestions for improvement include power washing the outside and minor repairs (torn screens, a broken stool, rickety chair, malfunctioning door locks). A lot of the rooms had no closets, so any hang-up clothes had to be put on the beds. Beautiful location--the house has excellent potential, just needs a few upgrades. The host was very responsive to texts."
