Shadow Palm's core is a resort style pool surrounded by 8 stand-alone villas. The grounds are adorned with palm trees and all sorts of tropical floral. There are 4 two-bedroom villas and 4 one-bedroom villas. Each villa is finely decorated, all tile floors, full kitchens with tableware. Great for family vacations, corporate outings, weddings, girls' weekend, golf/fishing excursions and more.

Great areas to socialize, relax and listen to the ocean or watch another great Texas sunset.

The location was very easy to find

The bungalow was exceptional but the bathroom floor was very slippery after taking showers due to the condensation on the tile. The stove was not cleaned but we had taken Clorox wipes and was able to remove the dirt and grime.

Great Stay

Much nicer than we assumed it would be We stayed in unit 3 as a family of 6, and it fit us perfect! Close to the beach, shops and dining. You get a good discount at Brons golf cart rental with your stay. Filtration on pool is a little slow, the water stays very warm. Would stay again!

Nice place

Overall the place was nice. It was a great location to the beach and to town. The inside was clean. I did expect the pool to be a little bigger than it was. It seemed a little larger and more up to date in the pictures than it was. But we enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

Family get away

We enjoyed staying at this villa. The size was great for the four of us plus our pup. The beds were all big and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool as well. Plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. There are spices as well if you need them. Great distance from the beach as well!

Port Aransas 3-day vacation

Good location. Easy drive to beach, kind of a long walk. Property was clean, well maintained, and comfortable; all amenities needed were provided. Rooms, grounds, and pool were as advertised. I met the owners and they were very welcoming.

Great on every level.

This place was so perfect for our stay. The outside is deceiving, as it isn't flashy and colorful, like a lot of other places on the island. What's inside is a perfect space for your vacation. Well appointed, well priced, clean and close to the beach. Planning on another stay, as soon as we can!

Great Getway!

My husband and infant daughter (an 80lb German Shepard) spent a full 7 days here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was clean, kitchen was pretty well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The location is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The property manager Pam was wonderful! She was responsive when we needed anything, super friendly and even was willing to allow us to check out 30 mins late so we could go grab breakfast but leave our dog. We will definitely be back!

This was a great place for our kids & grandkids to enjoy! We’ll definitely be coming back. Clean, pool was perfect, outdoor grills were great, location was great too… close to everything!

Hidden Gem

Eight cool little bungalows tucked around a nice pool and cooking area. Ours was recently updated and very comfortable. The management company was very responsive and helpful. Will be returning!

Enjoyed our stay at Shadow Palm. Villa exactly as described on website. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Large pool too chilly when we were there to swim though. Highly recommend.

Had to cancel vacation

We were not told that the air condition system was being replaced in our unit. We were asked to check in late and upon our arrival the new system wasn't working. They installed portable units that didn't cool the place. We had a 6mo baby that had to be cooled off in our car because the place was so hot and uncomfortable. We eventually packed, left and headed back home because there were no other rentals available for our family with pets. We spent our vacation at home instead of enjoying ourselves relaxing on the beach.

Not a great experience

We showed up to the property which was nice but the dumpster on the property was overflowing the entire time we were there so there was no where really to put the trash bags. Our little villa was nice but we noticed the air in the kitchen was leaking the first day we arrived really bad down through the cabinets. They moved a plug in window unit into the living room for us to use which didn’t even cool the room down and it was completely rigged in through the window so if someone wanted to easily open the window from the outside they could with no problem which didn’t make us feel comfortable especially since we had a 15 month old with us. The second night the air in my child’s room started to go out so we put him in our bedroom. Then in the middle of the night our unit was going in and out and started leaking so when it came back on we got a little water on our face which isn’t fun when your sleeping. We had someone try and come out the second day to try and fix the issue but after hours of spending there and still not solving the problem we just asked him to leave and come back because our entire trip had been interrupted. Overall not impressed after spending over $800 to rent this out for two nights.

Great trip very memorable

Great place to stay, very roomy for a family of four and dog. The pool was the best. Not sure if I would stay again but I would recommend this place to a friend for sure. Oh and the master king bed was so nice which was a big plus for me since I have some back/neck issues.

Friend coast trip

We enjoyed our MK low key time at the coast. We were able to relax at the pool, watching a movie or just gathered around the kitchen island. Great accommodations for our purposes!
