Mustang Bungalow 4MI is a spacious one bedroom one bath condo. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room has a new 32" flat screen TV and full size futon sofa. The total sleeping capacity is 4 people. There is a full kitchen equipped with everything you will need to cook your catch after a long day of fishing. The grounds are nicely manicured, complete with mature citrus trees. There are fish cleaning facilities on the property. The beach is approximately 2 blocks away but close enough to feel the gulf breezes. PETS NO LONGER ALLOWED AFTER NOVEMBER 8, 2023!!!

Although we were texted a door code ahead of time for check in, when we arrived there was nothing to enter a door code for. After calling the management company, they initially did not know why that would be, but it turns out it never had a door code in the first place and required keys (something they should have known since there had been literally staying there before we arrived). When we entered the property, the overall condition of it was not the same as the photos included on the website (tons of rust/water damage, not as much natural lighting). The shades in the bedroom were broken so they could not be opened. The vent in the bathroom didnā€™t work. And worst of all, there was BLACK MOLD on both of the vents! Would not recommend.

Great Birthday Weekend!

The property was easy to locate. It was very clean, neat, and cozy. Just good enough for the three of us. It was within walking distance of the beach. I will most definitely come back and spread the word to family and friends. Thank you for the experience. :)

Nice little place

Room was great except there was only enough linen for the one queen size bed. We were a family of four which was on the rental agreement. Had to go to town to get more linen for the futon. Other than that it was perfect for usā€¦

The property was very clean. It felt a little small but we live in a house but it was perfectly fine for me, 2 kids and a dog. The kitchen came with pots/pans, plates, utensils, coffee pot and ice. Thereā€™s even a pit on the property. We had a good time.

Had a small minor maintenance issue, and when we called the maintenance guy was there in 5 minutes. The bungalow was really clean well taken care of, and the AC worked awesome in the middle of a heatwave.

A bit of paint and cleaner furniture would really make the place more inviting. The sheets were like paper and the bed was very uncomfortable. There was a stained old chair in the corner next to the old futon that I was weary of touching but I can be appreciative of the sitting options. The toilet wouldnā€™t flush unless you held down the nozzle. Also there was a smell of musty cigarettes. Unless thatā€™s just the after smell of other families in the ocean, which could be proven by the sandy front room floor. I liked how close it was to the beach and to the main part of the city. The neighbors seemed nice. Because the bed had a bad smell to it and the pillowcases had stains on it, I was able to remove the bedding and replace it by the extras in the closet which seemed to have been dry cleaned and wrapped in plastic so I was thankful for that. There was also a stocked kitchen to cook some meals and from what I saw it was all mostly clean. Overall, I wish I would have chosen to stay in the hotels a couple more minutes away with free breakfast, comfortable beds, a clean environment and daily house keeping which would only have been a little bit more in cost. I stayed in a hotel about 3 min away the first night because I got in a little bit early and I paid just about the same per night as I did there and I was much more comfortable and happy there. I read that the building survived hurricane Harvey, so what itā€™s worth, Iā€™m glad itā€™s still standing.

Good for 2 people

The futon was very hard when sitting Iā€™m not sure how comfortable it would be to sleep on. The room does have quite a bit of wear and tear on the doors throughout and the room had a very musty wet smell we bought air freshener but it didnā€™t help too much. Other than than location was great and perfect size for a couple.

Port A escapes was great to work with. We called when the unit's storm door locked us out and someone was there in under five minutes. Drippy faucet, slippery tub and patched paint in unit show its wear and tear. Bit of a long walk to beach since the condo complex has no beach access and you need to walk several blocks to Sandcastle to access beach.

All you need family of 4 and 3 pets

We have stayed in plenty of places in port A; honestly, this little place was great for my husband, 2 kids (5&11) 2 english/French mastiffs, a English bulldog and myself. We fit great! The only things was the futon that my husband and I slept on was pretty uncomfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

1 bedroom. Condo small but nice. Internet not so good. No dishwasher. Location is good. Has itā€™s own grilling area and fish house. No pool. Linens and towels for a couple of days use. Had dish soap, hot pads, dish rag and dish towel, 2 rolls of paper towels and toilet paper, dishes, pots and pans, even had a stock pot. Not like a hotel where you are restocked with linens and towels. Especially important to us is it is pet friendly. They provided the bags to cleanup after pets. TV in living room and bedroom. Bedroom was not roomier than I thought it would be. Met some nice people. Not too far from the beach but it is best to drive.

Terrible Bed Mattress July 19, 2020

This property was a good price, great for pets, great location, good AC and it was clean. The drain in the bathtub was fixed. The bed mattress is really cheap and it will hurt your back. We are in our 40ā€™s and in good shape. They need to replace the mattress or put on a thick therapeutic memory foam mattress pad. The futon is also very thin. We were glad we only stayed 3 nights because of the bed is terrible! The outdoor property is maintained very well, it just needs some updates inside. There is NO dishwasher but the lady at check-in told us to take out trash and turn on the dishwasher before leaving. Also the keys are labeled like Ml4, Ml5 which is confusing the letter l looks like a #l (Could be condo 4 or condo 14) please put a dash for MI-4 for Mustang Isle Condo #4. We talked to other tenants who thought this was confusing, too. We had a good weekend, nice people around otherwise our backs were just sore.
