The hotel is clean and quiet. The check in process was smooth. The hotel "upgraded" us from a Standard room to a Suite, which we were not prepared for, in the process seem to have lost our breakfast being included, as I chose when booking through Expedia. The room was nice, although it did smell a bit musty and the bathroom was small.
The vending machine is where you can get soft drinks and water at any time which was broken Saturday, making a horrific sound non stop. Night desk clerk Aeran had put a call in for it to be fixed, yet was still broken Sunday when we checked out. I think the DEV hotel might be dealing with some upkeep issues, as another guest mentioned that their coffee maker and something else in their room wasn't working.
Shout out to Server Therese and Sous Chef Paul, who were very helpful about our free breakfast being denied by front desk staff Tiffany, who was quite frankly VERY rude and literally told me "prove it" and then I wasn't able to access my booking information about this on Expedia and made me wish I had printed everything before leaving home instead, because this is something I always check for when booking hotels and left us scrambling to find some place else for breakfast. There is a really nice walking/biking path across the road from the hotel, which has an aviation theme by the way. Despite our experience with Tiffany, the fact that Paul fixed it, improved my opinion. I would have given 5 stars if not for dealing with her bad attitude
