"This was definitely one of our favorite vacation rentals. Absolutely beautiful! Very peaceful, yet close proximity to town and restaurants, bars, and a casino. We really enjoyed ourselves, and our dog had the time of her life. We highly recommend! We would definitely come back, but we don't vacation in the same area twice. Thanks for providing a true description of your property and amenities. What you see in the photos is what you get...or actually, even better than the photos."

"The Hormets Nest worked out perfect for our group. It was clean and spacious and the host went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. He even sent us some trail maps for our atv excursions. The upstairs worked out well for 6 of our group and the downstairs had plenty of room for the rest of us with the 3 additional bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outside space was amazing with the upper & lower sitting areas and the firepit. Thank you Mike for the great place...

"Cute and well appointed home located at the south end of Ludington Park. The house has relaxing porch/deck with great views of Lake Michigan framed by beautiful turn 20th century homes. Plenty of neighborhood charm. Close to restaurants & shops. "

"Our family of 8 adults enjoyed our stay in this lovely home conveniently located for the things we wanted to do (day trips to Kitchi-ti-kipee, Menominee). We also enjoyed Leigh's Wine garden downtown, Sand Point lighthouse, multiple outings to the beach in Gladstone, and Barn on the Bay for ice cream. We were visited by Mama deer and two fawns in the backyard. The house had plenty of space for cooking meals, storing gear for 8 people, and parking for two vehicles in a nice, quiet neighborhood."
