"It is magical home in a magical place. It can't be more welcoming. The house is full of light . I live the kitchen and the living room with amazing views towards the sea and the saumon fishers.I have love the time sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying the peace and the warmth atmosphere. I have love playing the piano and cooking in the big kitchen.The bedrooms upstairs are big and very comfortable.Eileen has been very nice to us.She has answered all our questions.Hope to come back again soon."

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"Ein traumhaftes Ferienhaus, das perfekt für Familien ist. Man hat sich von der ersten Sekunde an wohlgefühlt. Man gelangt sehr schnell nach Galway und in den Nationalpark. Der Kontakt zu Michael war unkompliziert und freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!"

"Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"We had a wedding for my daughter at the Glenlo Abbey, so the location was perfect to the Abbey and downtown Galway.The pictures online do not do this property justice. It is very spacious and very luxurious. Kitchen is huge and the open concept with adjoining rooms and outside living in the front worked perfectly the morning of the wedding, when the groom, family and friends got ready.Beds were comfortable and each room had a great view. Host communication was spot on and got right back to me on...

"A lovely cottage, ideally located to discover the beauties of the Connemara. Very calm, only surrounded by sheeps, rabbits and a small creek. Christian, the owner, and Linda, a neighbor, are helpful and reactive for any question. The furniture is nice, of local style. The washing machine and the dryer are very useful in case of a wet walking..."

"We were looking for a quiet place to unplug and unwind by the sea. Curlews was exactly that!It is a cozy, unassuming cottage with sea views from every window. Nothing fancy - just unbelievable beauty and privacy. We will be regulars I suspect!"

"Wir haben uns mit drei Generationen und 9 Familienmitgliedern sehr wohlgefühlt. Unsere Tochter sitzt im Rollstuhl. john hat extra für uns eine Rampe an die hintere Türe gebaut, so dass die beiden Stufen im Erdgeschoss kein Problem waren! Danke dafür! Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und geräumig. Die drei Badezimmer sind großartig, wenn man eine große Familie ist. Die Lage und tolle Aussicht sind erstklassig. Danke für diesen wundervollen Ort! "Absolutely beautiful views of lakes and mountains!! Even got to see a sunset one evening!!! Beds are very comfortable and house is very quirky (in a good way) with old timey furniture and appliances (all work fine). Well stocked kitchen. Short drive into Oughterard (very cute little town) has supermarket and pubs (Clancy’s serves wonderful roasters and has live music). Convenient to take day trips to Connemara peninsula. All in all a grest place to stay. "
