The property was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating inside and out. As there were only 4 of us, we each had a room and a kids bathroom and a parent’s bathroom, which was really helpful.We spent a lovely day around the pool but unfortunately found the water too cold to stay in for any length of time at this time of year and so favoured beaches and sea-swimming on other days.There was plenty of kitchen equipment for the 4 of us, I think a larger group would benefit from some additional cutlery, glasses & mugs. We tried to cook on a couple of nights and found the power in the oven and hob ineffective - I don’t know if this was specific to the property or Corfu in general.The whole property consists of 2 properties - the basement is separated from the ground floor and 1st floor which forms this property rental. “Denise” is private and thoughtfully separated from the basement to maintain privacy. Access to the pool is down a garden path to the side of the house, rather than directly from the property. We also found that there was significant noise (doors banging) overnight from the basement which was quite intrusive.Unfortunately, we were greeted by an injured cat at Denise which persistently occupied the ground floor balcony area. The cat was bleeding and splattered blood around the balcony area making it unusable.We really did have a nice time but wanted to draw attention to these details which could make a difference to others.Communication was excellent!
