The villa is just like the pictures on the website. It is in a quiet, private, beautiful spot, with amazing views across the sea to Albania, but within walking distance of Kassiopi and of lovely Avlaki beach, and a good supermarket (Nikos). The big pool and flat, safe garden make it perfect for children as well as adults. We met with kindness and friendliness everywhere, from the owner, Alexis, who rescued our holiday by changing our dates at very short notice when BA shut down for 3 days, made sure outside lights were on for our late arrival and got a water supply problem fixed within an hour, to Nikos supermarket, about 20 minutes walk away, who not only delivered our goods but took us home with them, to the people at every taverna we went to. You don't absolutely need a car, but having one between us meant we could give lifts to the little children while the grownups walked to Avlaki, for instance.
