  • Pascal and Sandra will be happy to welcome you to their large cottage, a 5-star-rated detached house (a spacious 120-square-meter home) located in Corbie in the Somme Valley, near Amiens (12 km), Albert (13 km), Péronne (20 km), and 1 hour from Lille, 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Baie de Somme, Paris, and Belgium. The highway is 6 km away. Very close to the major historical sites of the Great Battle of the Somme during World War I. You’ll love this cottage for its peace and quiet in the heart of nature, facing the Barette ponds—located in a Natura 2000 protected area. It’s a standalone cottage next to the owners’ home. A pen with dwarf goats is right next door, sure to delight young and old alike. You can stroll along the ponds by following the nature trail, starting on foot from our cottage to reach the ponds and the Sainte Colette lookout point just behind our cottage (panoramic views of the ponds guaranteed). Every window offers a magnificent, unobstructed view of the ponds—a change of scenery and relaxation guaranteed. Excellent, unlimited Wi-Fi access is provided free of charge. Parking is available in front of the house. Beds are made upon arrival. Towels and table linens are provided. On the terrace: barbecue and patio furniture. 4 lounge chairs. Laundry detergent provided. Crib. High chair. Baby bathtub. 2 bicycles are available free of charge.
    The Corbie municipal swimming pool is located 1 km from the house.

Natur pur

Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Das Cottage war geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Blick auf die Etangs war einfach malerisch. In der Küche fehlten ein paar Kleinigkeiten, dies wurde jedoch umgehend vom Vermieter geregelt. Verbesserungsvorschläge wurden gerne angenommen. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen, dort einmal wieder die Ruhe zu geniessen.

Schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht

Das Cottage liegt direkt am Naturschutzgebiet und bietet sowohl Ausflüge in die Natur als auch in die nahe gelegene Stadt Amiens. Pascal und Sandra haben uns sehr nett empfangen und uns Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt, mit denen wir auf der Véloroute entlang der Somme gefahren sind. Die Innenausstattung des Cottages ist einfach phantastisch und die Aussicht auf die Étangs hervorragend. Der große Garten bietet mit seinen Liegen einen ruhigen Ort zum Entspannen. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Wir waren begeistert.

Wat een prachtige cottage, heel ruim en het is een mooi huisje voor 2 volwassenen en evt 2 kinderen. Boven en benedenverdieping en heerlijke bedden. Mooi en praktisch ingericht, alles is aanwezig. Je kan zelf koken, vaatwasser, koelkast met vriezer en oven aanwezig. Ook kan je gebruik maken van de wasmachine. Alles heerlijk schoon. Prachtig uitzicht op het water. Rustige accommodatie met leuke geitjes naast de tuin. Hele vriendelijke eigenaren en je kan ze alles vragen, ze staan direct voor je klaar. Zo kregen wij bijvoorbeeld uitleg van de eigenaren om met de trein naar Amiens te gaan in plaats van met de auto. Ze zijn begaan met hun gasten. We gaan hier zeker nog eens terug komen, het was geweldig.

Ein wundervolles Ziel

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in Corbie und bei Sandra und Pascal verbracht: Das Cottage gleich neben den idyllisch gelegenen Fischteichen lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist großzügig, sehr individuell und mit Liebe und Stil eingerichtet und für Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter unserer beiden Kinder passend. Details wie die Möglichkeit, die Zimmer im Dachgeschoss abzudunkeln, und dass wir Bettwäsche und Handtücher nutzen durften, waren besonders praktisch. Corbie war für uns der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um spannende und überraschende Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu machen - natürlich nach Amiens, zu Gedenkstätten in der Nähe und zur Somme-Mündung nach St.Valery-sur-Somme sowie zu den Kreidefelsen in Ault. Merci beaucoup, Sandra et Pascal!

Tolles Haus mit wunderschöner Aussicht

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche im Ferienhaus von Sandra und Pascal verbracht. Sandra und Pascal sind sehr nette, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus liegt ruhig, mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den Etang de la Barette. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Bilder und die Beschreibung treffen exakt zu und es ist im Haus alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt. Mit den zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrrädern, haben wir schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung unternommen. Corbie hat alles, was man für einen Urlaub benötigt, Bäcker, Metzger, 2 Supermärkte, Wochenmarkt, Restaurants und ein großes Schwimmbad. Um das Ferienhaus gibt es schöne Wanderwege und es liegt ideal für Fahrradtouren auf gut ausgebauten Radwegen. Die nahegelegene Stadt Amiens muss man unbedingt besuchen und sich dabei die Lasershow „Chroma“ an der Kathedrale ansehen. Ein rundherum gelungener Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder. Un grand merci à Sandra et Pascal pour les belles vacances et nous serions ravis de revenir

The description of this house does not mention that you cannot get your car near the front door but have to mount 28 large brick stairs, nor is this visible on the pictures. The description says the house is near the water, in fact there is rather busy route departemental between the sloping front garden and the water.There is a nice terrace in front of the house with a splendid view but you can only use this in the afternoon as the whole morning the sun is shining directly at this terrace and there is not any form of sunshade. The two roomy sleeping rooms are direct in the attic and only accessible by a very steep and small staircase. This should not be a problem if the bathroom was also located on this floor but there is nothing of the kind not even a toilet. The very simple bathroom is on the ground floor next to the well equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms situated directly under the roof also means that they become very hot in summer. It is possible to ventilate these but then you must be careful because if it starts to rain you have to close these as otherwise the rain is pouring directly into your bed.As to the sitting room and dining area: these are roomy and comfortable.Our conclusion: this is a very good holiday home in spring and autumn, in summer it is too hot in its present state. And it is not suitable for elderly people.We must emphasize, however, that the hosts Pascal and Sandra are the most nice and helpful people you could wish.
