"This house is loaded with activities, inside and out. The rooms were comfortable and amenities were great. Overall it was a really fun place to hang out and kept a large group busy for the weekend. Highly recommended! "

"We enjoyed our stay here. Great local to walk or drive into town. I didn't realize we had to walk upstairs to get to the apartment. However, we were all people physically capable to do so. Home was very clean and comfortable. Love the convenience of a washer and dryer. If you plan on cooking your meals. Great counter space and outdoor grill. Didn't see a grill brush though to clean the grates. We made so though. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you....

"This property was a great place to stay. It was very clean and was nicely furnished including an arcade game which was fun. It’s very close to Jim Thorpe and was walkable to several restaurants. I was in town for a Reading & Northern train ride and it’s only about 15 minutes from the train station in Nesquehoning. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if I’m in the area. "

"The accomdations were fantastic... beyond our expectations. The host was very communicative and helpful with our questions. There was many inside and outside activites available at the property. It was super peaceful and we saw wildlife daily. I would highly recommend this place. "

"Perfect getaway in the woods. Fun to be had in the game room if you dont want to go out, great area for fun within a short drive if you do want to adventure. Hot tub under the stars was so peaceful. Hope to stay there again as its a convenient drive from us with lots to do in a welcoming home."

"Stayed one night on September 27th, 2025. Was able to check in early and had bags personally delivered to our room. Once we finally got a hold of the owner Geraldine, she was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and secluded and amenities were very good. Would not recommend for elderly or very obese people as the steps up to the bathroom were tight and steep but once you get there the bathroom was very clean and well maintained. "Great property for families! Basketball hoop, separate tvs in rooms, fire ring, and community pool and playground, with local hiking (Hickory Run State park), fishing, and boating (Beltzville State Park) kept us all busy and content. Also counted 40 deer while we were here - definitely the place for night time deer spotting. "

"The fresh eggs from our host's chickens were wonderful as was the bread and butter. Minor problem -- there was no toaster for the bread and there was a small toaster oven, but the cord was 1' long and there was no extension cord. We tried to move it but it had a microwave on top of it and that almost led to disaster. Our hostess was very gracious when we overslept (no windows and our alarm didn't go off) and allowed us an extra hour to leave. She also graciously left us some milk, which we...

"This is a perfect location. It took us less than 15 minutes walking to the Jim Thorpe train station. Plenty of cute shops and restaurants along the way. The house is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed the stay. Kylie and Mary Beth were great host. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and they answered my questions right away. "
