"There's a pretty view of the lake from the back of the cabin. The inside of the cabin is nicely setup and clean. The outside needs a little work. That does not keep us from giving a 5 start review. There's a lovely little dock with chairs setup by the lake. There is lots of shops and things to do and see in the surrounding area. The people in the community are friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was nice for cooler evenings. We can't wait to come back. "

"This was our family's second time at Sunset Cottage. The lake is a "no wake" lake, in a quiet neighborhood, so it was very peaceful. Kayaks and paddle boards were made available, and we used them every day. Swimming was wonderful--the lake is very clear! There are an abundance of turtles on South Twin lake.Check in was a breeze. There is a Meijer and Wal Mart in Sturgis, MI, which is a short drive away, for when you need groceries/supplies. Sturgis also has a used book store (Lowry's), and...

"We have stayed at Millie's cittage several times, never to dussapoint. Carla is so quick to answer messages. Theur home is very clean and stocked with essentials. We took advantage of BlueFate Theatre and dinner Friday, and Blue Gate Performance Art. Again, not to dissapoint. "

"The cabin was as described! Very private and very cozy. The instructions to get there were very clear as well. The mattress seemed outdated and the window ac unit was right behind the bed but overall it was a great stay. Great price for the weekend!"

"The house has beautful view of the lake. It was very clean and special little touches- sign wecoming us, snack baskets and smores package all added to it. We loved kayaking, fishing (no keepers) but still good time, camp fire. Thanks for sharing your home with us."

"We enjoyed our family vacation at this cute little cottage right on the lake. There were beautiful sunsets and shallow water perfect for our kids to enjoy. There are plenty of places to eat in the area, they also provide kitchen necessities if you wanted to cook at the cottage. Great communication from the hosts and everything went perfect! Thank you!! "It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though..."

"Quiet, clean and cozy place. Perfect for our girls’ getaway! Owners were very friendly, responsive and great communication. This is a rural area, so you have to drive to get to the towns in the area but all within 15 minutes. The 2nd bathroom shower is small, but clean and nice. The cottage has AC units in each room, but we liked having separate temperatures for each area. We would definitely stay again!"
