"Just what you would expect in a North woods cabin. Knotty pine on the walls and a beautiful view of the woods. Check in was easy and communication was great. Kitchen had all the gadgets we needed to make meals."

"This was our 4 th stay here. The house is very accomodating for our group of 8.Trails were not the best so it was a great place to hang out when not riding. See ya next year. "

"Small cozy cute clean cottage. We loved the area but forgot how intimidating during night, the dark winding curvy roads could be. But that is also the charm of UpNorth. The host was very responsive and helpful. "

"The house sits at the end of the road so all you see are deer, foxes, squirrels, and the birds. Large hill down to the lake but chose this location as there is a road right to the dock so I could get my wife down to our rented pontoon boat. Daily boat rides and fishing from both the boat and the dock. Plenty of bluegills to keep the grandkids interested every day. Frogs at the dock area were a bonus and the 3 yo located every spiderweb and spider on the property with great excitement. If you...

"We had a three day stay in Phelps. Really nice lakefront home on a gorgeous lake. The house is quite close to several other homes and piers, but none were occupied during our stay. Beautiful lakefront, nice pier, great fire pit. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of quality towels and linens. If you're coming with plans to cook, be sure to bring your own kitchen basics like S/P and cooking oil as there were no staples in the house.
