"Debbie and her place were amazing!! The pictures don’t do justice to this restful place. I could feel myself relaxing the moment I stepped out of the car with the view, sounds of the waves and smell of the sea. While it’s remote, it is also very near to anything you would need. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully laid out and well stocked. Debbie was delightful and a joy! Next time, our stay will be longer!!"

There is BBQ grill left charcoal and lighter fo the next visitors. Confused about the recycling..Is glass handled separately? Think the Wi-Fi router needs replacing. Worked fine and then nothing. "We’re “day trippers” and value returning after a day’s foray to a welcoming home. Heaven, Too was just that and more: spacious to the point of luxury, with views that constantly drew the eye. I was often re-reading the same page two or three times because I was either distracted by the scene outside or drifting off in the comfort of the lovely sunroom. Highly recommended."

"Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

"What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. "Im Grossen und Ganzen war der Aufenthalt angenehm, Umgebung und ruhige Lage sind ansprechend. Wir waren wohl die ersten Gäste nach langer Zeit (Winterruhe) und hatten in der ersten Tagen mit mangelnder Heizleistung zu tun. Versuche des verantwortlichen Ansprechpartners, die Heizung zu programmieren, um eine stets angenehme Temperatur zu erreichen, schlugen fehl. Wir mussten oft boostern, was dann zu Überhitzung führte. Auch hier gilt: zum Beginn der Saison sollen alle Funktionen geprüft und...

"We stayed for a week and had the most wonderful time in this cozy cottage! It was beautiful to wake up at morning, seeing the fishermen already doing their work. Enjoy the rural and calm surroundings by foot or car. The home was very clean, kitchen is well-equiped and the stove provides cozyness and warmth in stormy nights! We would warmly recommend to stay at Jeanne‘s place, when traveling Connemara the laid-back way! We felt like home right away and would definitely come back! Wonderful,...

"Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt. Mulighed for mange gode ture - til fods eller i bil - fra stedet. Lejligheden var kold og uden radiator i spise-opholds-stuen (der var radiatorer i de andre rum). Vi savnede en ansat på stedet til at svare på spm. Fx da der ikke var varmt vand eller da vi ikke kunne få badet på 1. sal til at virke. Eller om de havde en mobil radiator til spiseområdet ;)"

"Schönes Ferienhaus mit einem wunderbaren Panoramablick über den Atlantik. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen. Im Ferienhaus gab es keinen Fön, wäre sinnvoll diesen mitzubringen. Das Haus liegt in wildromantischer Umgebung mitten im Connemara Naturpark. Galway, das kleine hübsche Stätdchen Cliften und Westport bis Achill Iland mit seinen schönen Stränden sind in ein bis zwei Stunden gut erreichbar. Zu den Cliffs of Moher sind etwa 3 Stunden. Wir hatten tolles Wetter und eine gelungene, entspannte...

"We must thank Debbie & Julie for being so hospitable and for letting us spend our vacation @ the Beautiful Makleelan House! The house is in the perfect spot for some of the prettiest views in Ireland! The view is to die for, the house is very clean, we did not want to leave! But hopefully we will be able to return and if so, it absolutely will be here again! Debbie, as our host, goes so much further than ever expected, providing anything and everything we were needing or just would like to have!...

"Schickes kleines Haus, 3 Zimmer für 6 Personen. Küche ausgestattet mit dem was man braucht. Lage ist schon sehr auserhalb, dafür sehr Ruhig."

"Everything was perfect for us to enjoy the area and drive into clifden for restaurants and pubs for traditional Irish music. The road is a bit narrow towards the house the last bit but we did it slowly. We also enjoyed great meals at the nearby Connemara sands hotel just near the house."
