"This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. Our host, Sue, was super-friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great, several options, all good. So, a perfect 5 of 5! "

"We were not booked in via Vrbo ? Apparently it had to be done manually? Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk. "The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!"

"Host was extremely friendly and personable. Breakfast was excellent. Only issue was one has to drive 5 to 10 minutes for dinner which may be an issue if you want to enjoy a couple of pints. Having said that, we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"super nice hosts, Connor was very kind and shared a lot about the Burren, and Ferris in the kitchen, with a selection of warm breakfast each day you can chose from if you want to stay several days i had a double room with chairs and tons of space, very spacious, comfortable, clean with beautiful views of one of the Burren hills a car or bikes would be needed to get around as roads are narrow and dangerous to walk, lots to do around, perfect location to explore the area, plenty to do from...
