"We used to stay here many years back when visiting relatives in the area. Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine. Back in the day the then Ostler restaurant was far superior"

"We had a wonderful weekend at the Wheatsheaf - everything from arrival to departure was just wonderful. The onsite parking in the middle of a town was very welcome. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished (thank you for the room upgrade).
