"Used it as a base for a few days to explore Sligo. Staff were helpful, the on site shop was handy for items. The apartment was great with superb views of the lake. Beds were comfortable, the apartment had all the essentials."

"Cream cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in a beautiful area, with a wonderful view of Knocknashee- the Hill of the Faeries. We were able to visit so many places during our stay. So much to see and do throughout the county, whatever you’d interest. Returning to the cottage each evening was lovely, sara was very responsive to any queries before and during our stay. "

"Besides the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, the best place we stayed on our entire trip. Reflected an extraordinary attention to detail and comfort. And really attentive when communicating with us. Location was wonderful. The best! :)"

"The property was clean and cosy, but the listing was misleading. The exterior photos showed a small house surrounded by green fields, whereas the actual accommodation was in a studio room behind a family home in their back garden. If we had known this beforehand, we likely would have booked elsewhere."

"Such a great value for the money to stay there! Very clean, large in size, and great location right by the ocean. Loved it!"

"Lovely cottage - very comfortable and very well equipped. Perfect location for seeing the many beautiful locations in Sligo and south Donegal. Breege and Bernard are perfect hosts, property was spotlessly clean on arrival along with a welcome pack - which was much appreciated. Very easy to get to cottage, quiet and rural location. Fantastic walking direct from cottage, beach nearby. Just over an hour from Knock airport and if you have time don’t forget to visit Knock Basilica."

"Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen, insbesondere der Meerblick. Die Dusche müsste mal überprüft werden, an der Badewanne fehlte die Dusche. Ansonsten hat uns die Unterkunft aber sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen wieder. "

"We were a party of seven adults and two dogs, visiting family and for birthday celebrations. There was plenty of room in the house and more than enough crockery etc. for our group. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We ‘practised’ walking to the Beach Bar on several occasions! Sheila was quick to respond to any queries. And we had two weeks of Irish sunshine. A lovely stay and we would happily return."
