"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"This is a super cute cabin on the same proper as the owner’s home and farm. They have adorable bunnies, goats and sheep that love attention and animal crackers. We chose this cabin as the last 4 days of our vacation, with the first 5 days in NYC. It’s an easy drive from NYC to this cute cabin and talk about a different experience between the two! My husband and I both caught a virus in NYC and were pretty ill the entire stay, but the cabin, while secluded and in the country, is only a few...

"The place was nice and neat with all modern finishes. The two bedrooms had nice large beds with tvs and the kitchen was nice and new. The owner lives upstairs and lives there so being aware of the living situation is important but if you’re looking for a great view, location and place to stay that’s quiet and well appointed, this is it!"

"Cute property with easy access to our Conestoga wagon. We stayed for two days and loved it. Horse drawn buggies going by all day, nice little creek right next to the wagon. Very peaceful. Kathryn was very accomodating and promptly responded to my emails. We have twin 13 year old boys who are more like high school size and they enjoyed the bunk bed. We would definitely stay again."

"The place was perfect for our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The scenery was so peaceful and beautiful, and the location is great. It felt like a home-away from home and our whole family was sad to leave. "The room was so warm and welcoming. Soft music playing when we entered offered a tranquil atmosphere. Supplies for roasting marshmallows and a Keurig with plenty of coffee was a nice touch. Mints on the bed, and a hand held massager was a relaxing treat. This place was a cute romantic stay. Location was awesome- in the country away from crowds. A yard view of an Amish working farm.The mattress could have been more comfortable and a blind on the skylight window over the bed would be nice too. But...

"The house was clean and perfect. We attended the Sights and Sound Theater, was an easy drive. Walked around town to the many shops. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. They even had a backyard, if you like to sit outside. Highly recommend!"

"This place is great. Centrally located to get to a lot in Lancaster. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. I thought street parking might be an issue but we always found a spot. We even got some time in the hot tub! Kathy was the best to work with, will definitely stay here again next time we are in town. "

"Our hotel stiffed us out of our room due to construction. Best thing that could have happened. Found this listing and its been a homerun. Our host has been great, the property and amenities have been fantastic. So nice to sit outside in silence and relax. Close to the attractions and local businesses that we wanted to visit. And the ride in off 322 is incredible to see. Will be back!!"

"Adorable cabin! Communication with Kenneth was great and he was very accommodating. We were not in town to see the sights, only to see family. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings."

"This is a beautiful property. It was clean and so charming. We loved our stay here. We loved the old farmhouse feel of the property and all the antique furnishings. The hosts were thoughtful and quick to respond to questions. We usually take this trip annually and hope to stay here again. "

"Stayed for a long weekend recently and it was just what we needed. Kitchen, bedrooms and bath are all well appointed. House was spotless and plenty of room for a group of 4 to relax in the living room. Kitchen and living area is open so the few times we cooked in, plenty of space for all to gather around the island, or be busy at the stove. House is in a quiet nook up a tree lined hill so even though you're not far from town, its a nice quiet place to relax. There's some outside seating...
