"Lovely clean rooms, great shower! Very doggie friendly. Roaring fires and beautiful food. 10oz steak and peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection. The Coffee and tiramisu sundae exceptional. We will be back!"

"The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. "Very dirty room, the floor was covered in dust and debris, there was toothpaste splashed on the bathroom walls and hairs in the sink. The pub was lovely but the room cleanliness needs serious improvement. "

"The staff were attentive to our needs. We ate there on the second night of our stay. They food was lovely and hot when served. We did not wait for too long from ordering to getting our food. There were limitations on what we could have both on the food and drink side due to delivery issues. My and I were are aware that there was music being played when we went to bed, but I did not really interfere with us getting to sleep. Eat plugs were provided which my wife used. "Parking in pub car park was easy as we arrived early. Had a drink in the bar and a walk to the shore before check in at 2pm. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely with everything you need. Bed was comfortable, lots of extra bedding and pillows if needed. Bath was a bit difficult to get out of for us personally but would be fine for most people. Meals were delicious, we had breakfast, dinner and tea. Thanks for a wonderful stay. "
