"This was one of the best stays of our trip. Long drive, arrived tired and hungry. We were greeted by Kathleen, the most kind and wonderful hostess. We had an hour to freshen up before our dinner reservation. Then, we were seated with a gorgeous view of the lake on one side and the excellent band on the other. Our server, Rebecca, was one of the nicest servers EVER. The food was great. We were disappointed we weren’t staying longer than one night!"

"Hotel and restaurant staff were available, courteous and helpful. The outside area by the front door needed a tidy up and hallways were a bit dusty, but otherwise my room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! "

"The Marmalade Motel is in a gorgeous location with rooms looking across the bay and a lovely deck per room to enjoy the views from outside. The room has all you could need, with fridge, coffee machine, tea bags, and is well sized. The bed is nice though quite squeaky. For exploring the east coast of Nova Scotia it's a great spot. Would stay here again."

"lovely pool and play area for families. we rented a cottage which had a mini kitchen so very handy for making a meal. in room coffee machine, microwave, fridge, stove etc. lovely view from windows looking out at the water. very quiet and well maintained property."
