"Buffet breakfast was awesome.! Staff were very helpful and tried to solve our problems…#1- heat pump stuck on cool..provided extra blankets
#2- unable toget into bed as the mattress was the very high ( I am 5-6) provided a stool and offered to change rooms..which was not practical as we were very tired and ready to sleep! Once I finally got into bed it was very comfortable.
I have stayed at The Pines before and have had no problems but this time…I was disappointed"

"We booked here because they said they have a pool on the booking website and they had a diner on site. The pool has been filled in. So we were bummed we couldn't use it. The diner is seasonal and wasn't open yet they said it doesn't open till June sometime. I wish we had know this we may have stayed somewhere else. But on the plus side the view was gorgeous and the rooms were clean. And the staff was friendly"

"One of the best values for a suite we have ever stayed at. We were in the two story Suite D. Absolutely gorgeous! We will be back. Any of the staff we dealt with were amazing. Housekeeping is second to none. The restaurant is also an incredible value and the food and service was excellent. Love, Love, Loved this place!"

"The room and bathroom were clean. The whole place was quiet and frankly a little eerie feeling as not many folks were staying there. There was no breakfast. A smiling face from the gal in the office who checked us in would have been welcome, but she did provide good restaurant suggestions. The property seems to be up for sale. I would probably not stay there again."
