Rustic lodge retreat minutes from the Frio!

Welcome to Valley View!
Valley View is a charming, rustic oasis in the heart of Concan just minutes from the Frio River. When you arrive you will see the expansive front porch offering amazing hill country views as well as deer and bird watching. You will not want to miss the sunsets from your new favorite spot! Walking through the door will feel like entering a cozy mountain lodge complete with a custom stone fireplace and rustic charm throughout. Concrete floors, ceiling fans and ambient lighting are in every room. Beautiful cedar walls, granite counter tops and Texas style decor are welcoming and will make you feel at home.

Valley View offers plenty of seating with a large bar, breakfast/game table and a rustic leather-fringe dining table below an antique custom canoe light. The kitchen is stocked with the the essentials needed for your stay and has a large island for meal prepping and storage. Just off the kitchen you will find a spacious laundry room with a washer and dryer.

There are 2 large private bedrooms, one on each end of the house. Each bedroom has (1) queen bed and (1) double/double bunk bed (total of 3 beds per room) with a total of 6 beds for 12 guests. Each room has a full bathroom en-suite with granite counter tops and a glass, walk-in tile shower. You will have plenty of room to store your luggage and personal belongings in the large closets- (1) located in each room.

After a long day on the river, you can unwind by the iron fire pit. Enjoy star gazing and roasting s’mores, or cook over the open flame. In the grill area you will find several options for multiple styles of cooking. There is a regular charcoal grill, a kettle style ceramic charcoal grill and a smoker for slow cooking.

Located near the 2nd Frio river crossing, Valley View is in an excellent, central location off of River Road. Just minutes from the river, there are multiple access points for tubing and water fun. There are several stores and restaurants within a few miles of the house as well as House Pasture Cattle Company and Frio Valley Ranch Golf Course. Garner State Park is just 10 miles away!

Valley View offers the perfect summer getaway for enjoying everything the Frio River has to offer but is also a perfect fall and winter retreat for relaxing and getting away. Make Valley View you destination for any season!

LINENS:
Bedding is provided. There will be sheets, pillows and a blanket on each bed.

TOWELS:
We provide 12 Bath Towels, 12 Washcloths, and 4 Hand Towels. Please bring your own towels for the river/swimming.

We provide a few items to get you started- 1 travel-sized bottle of dish soap, 4 toilet paper rolls(2 per bathroom), 2 paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, and 4 trash bags (2 inside and 2 outside). Please bring any additional you may need.
