It sits at the heel of the peninsula, at the southern end of the wide Sado estuary, sandwiched between dense forest and the Atlantic. The village is lovely and has affordable places to stay. You can get in that place by ferry from Setúbal to Tróia.

"Pros: A casa era mesmo muito boa e tudo funciona muito bem. 3 wcs completos 3 quartos fantásticos, uma sala grande como é necessário e boa tv e wi-fi. Sem muita decoração nem móveis a mais como se pretende numa casa de férias, tem tudo o q é preciso. A dona é super simpática e prestável, sempre disponível. A meu pedido arranjou até quem fosse fazer a limpeza ao fim de 1 semana que não deve ser fácil neste período. Cons: Apenas uma nota negativa: o meu aluguer foi de 15 dias e deveria contemplar...

"Our stay at this amazing villa near Carvoeiro was absolutely perfect. The spacious rooms and the beautiful garden provided the tranquil environment we were looking for, making it a wonderful base for our holiday.
