"The secluded cabin was perfect for dogs with stranger anxiety. They enjoyed walking the wooded dirt roads on long leashes. We enjoyed kayaking on a quiet lake and relaxing in the well maintained hot tub and sitting by the bonfire. Taverns, coffee shop and gift/antique shops all nearby."

"This was an amazing experience. The property is phenomenal. We were able to relax, enjoy each other's company. The fishing wasn't great but that didn't matter just being out on the water was amazing. We will definitely be booking again and are already planning our next stay. We stayed one night, after attending a wedding at the Shed, but would have been happy to stay for a long weekend, to explore the countryside around Amery. "Thanks to Margi for the nice stay! Beautiful home and backyard landscape. Hot tub, dock & kitchen were some of our favorite places to gather & hang out. And Webster has the coolest places to grab a bite to eat! Would recommend. The paddle boat didn’t work, but Margi kindly worked with me & I appreciated it."

"Cabin was great, yard was beautiful. City was close if you need anything. Jake the host was very friendly and helpful. Only thing I would call out is that there are steep stairs that lead down to the lake. So be prepared for that! "

"The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with cooking supplies, games, towels etc. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts have done every possible to make this a lovely stay including NOT leaving a long list of things to do before you leave. As other reviews state, the walk down to the lake is a bit long and steep, but there are stairs. I got my exercise. "We had a great week at Blake Lake! The house had plenty of room, and came with great kid amenities which helped on a few rainy days. Well equipped for our family to cook all week, and a perfect yard for games. Kids had great fishing from the dock/yard. Hosts provided great information for the house and were very helpful and communicative when we had questions. 10/10 would recommend and return!"
