Casa Patricia 2 - Como Lake - Historical Center - Ancient Walls

My apartment is located in the historic center of Como, near the ancient city walls and the lake, and is easily accessible from both train stations. In just a few steps, you can reach the historic streets of the city center, lined with shops, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets, or take a boat to explore the lake. If you prefer, you can walk up to Villa Olmo, passing by the Tempio Voltiano, and visit the Duomo, S. Fedele, S. Abbondio, Porta Torre, the ancient city walls, and the Volta and Cavour squares.<br>My apartment is very spacious and bright, elegant, and recently renovated with new furniture and every comfort to make you feel at home. It consists of an entryway, a hallway, a large bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa bed, a table with chairs, a TV, and a stereo; a kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, sink, and refrigerator; a laundry area; and a bathroom with a shower. Wi-Fi is available.In front of the apartment, there are plenty of paid parking spaces available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; parking is free at other times.<br>Just cross the street, walk through the ancient city walls, and enter the old town with its beautiful streets full of shops, bars, restaurants, palaces, squares, churches, and ancient monuments. Or take a short walk to reach the lake, the ferry terminal, or the train and bus stations. Supermarkets and a charming outdoor Saturday market are very close by.<br>The historic center of Como can easily be explored on foot; you can take a boat to discover the lake’s beauty or a train to visit other cities—including those in Switzerland—and finally take the funicular up to Brunate for a breathtaking view.<br><br>HOUSE RULES<br>- Guests must present a valid ID at check-in (including children).<br>- No additional guests are permitted beyond those listed on the reservation.<br>- To avoid long waits, please let us know your arrival time in advance and notify us of any delays, especially if arriving by car.<br>- Check-in after 8:00 p.m. incurs an additional charge of 20.00 Euro, payable in cash.<br>- The Municipality of Como has established a tourist tax applicable to overnight stays for a maximum of 4 consecutive nights. The tax amounts to 3.00 Euro per person per night and is NOT included in the price.<br>Guests must pay the tax upon arrival in cash.<br>- You are required to respect the peace and quiet of the property to maintain good relations with neighbors.<br>- No smoking.<br>- Pets are not allowed.<br>- No parties or events.<br>- COVID-19: Guests will find a clean and sanitized environment using special products.
