Set in the heart of nature, in a peaceful location, this second-floor apartment is an ideal alpine retreat all year round.

Guests are surrounded by greenery and uninterrupted mountain views in this contemporary studio, which sleeps up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). The small residence is built in the traditional chalet style and has tonnes of Savoyard charm.

The living area is light and airy thanks to the double French windows which lead out onto a wooden balcony, with a table and chairs, where guests can sit and admire the views. There is a comfortable sofa and flatscreen TV, as well as a dining table and 4 chairs. At the end of the room, the open-plan kitchen is separated by a wooden breakfast bar. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, fridge, drip coffee machine and toaster.

Location
On the outskirts of the village of Combloux, which dates to the XII century, this apartment is ideally situated for holidaymakers at any time of year.

For skiers and snowboarders, the property is close to the slopes, ski shuttle buses and ski lifts. The slopes around Combloux suit skiers of all levels. There are many festivals and events throughout the year, such as the well-being fortnight, (April) which features a series of talks and sessions focusing on mental and physical health. In the first week of July, the village hosts the most difficult mountain bike competition in the world, with courses of between 20km and 140km. The village’s Christmas festivities are particularly popular with children and there is regular night skiing with flaming torches throughout the winter season.

The village is home to one of France’s first open-water swimming areas, Lac Biope (an 8-minute drive). Here you can swim in pristine mountain waters, with spectacular views of Mont Blanc. For something even more relaxing, try the natural thermal baths at Les Bains de Mont Blanc, in St Gervais Les Bains (a 20-minute drive).

Geneva airport is a 1-hour and 10-minute drive from the chalet.
