One block from Book Loft; walk all over German Village; quick drive downtown, OSU, Nationwide Childrenā€™s Hospital, Convention & Expo Ctr. Walk to best restaurants.

German Village is a historic neighborhood just south of downtown Columbus, OH. Initially platted in 1814 in Columbus' South End, German Village was generally developed between years 1840 and 1914. It was settled largely by German immigrants in the mid-1800s. German descendants at one time comprised as much as one-third of the population of Columbus. Restoration began in 1959 and the Historic District was established in 1963. German Village was the FIRST historic district in the U.S. and it remains a model for all that came after. In the year 1974, German Village joined the Historic Register. Today, more than 1,600 preservations have been completed.

We suggest Lyft or Uber for airport transportation and for longer commutes.
An easy bus ride gets you downtown (COTA), to the Short North or to OSU! And the CBUS (downtown COTA bus loop) is FREE and nearby!
Parking out front is FREE!

The efficiency is Unit B, and has all you need for a short or long stay. The garden space is private, gated but shared with the long-term tenant in Unit A.

Clean, Comfortable, and Conveniently Located

We enjoyed our stay in German Village! The apartment was in a great area of town and we were able to walk to parks and several restaurants in the area. Highly recommend a visit to The Book Loft and coffee at nearby Staufsā€” both less than a 5 minute walk away. We rented scooters (theyā€™re everywhere!) and had a wonderful time sightseeing on those and it made getting to some of the farther areas easier. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy this area of Columbus!

This location is the perfect spot to enjoy all that German Village has to offer! The comfort of the little Haus has everything you need. We liked having the backyard with the smell of the viburnums

A cute, clean place in a quiet old neighborhood. The courtyard is adorable and would be a great place to hang when the weather improves. After a long car ride, my dogs loved it! :)

Perfect for a weekend trip!

The Lilā€™Haus is perfect for a quick weekend trip.My husband and I enjoyed how close it was to everything (we didnā€™t drive anywhere, which we loved) and the doggies enjoyed how close it was to the park! Communicating with the owners was a breeze as well. Thanks for much for letting us stay!

Everything we needed

We really just needed a comfy place to land for a night, and this property was exactly that. The communication from the owner made it very easy to check in, and we had everything we needed inside. The only thing that was less than perfect was the minor stains on the fitted sheet, but honestly my sheets at home aren't perfect either so who am I to judge? The beds and pillows were comfy, everything was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet. We didn't cook, but the kitchen looked to have the basics. We'd stay here again if we ever found ourselves back in Columbus.

Wonderful for the holidays!

My boyfriend and I brought our dog with us to stay here. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was safe and decorated for the holidays. There are a lot of signs in the neighborhood asking for me to curb my dog (which I can do). Not used to so many signs asking for the dogs not to relieve themselves, use the yard. Would stay here again

Good location

In town to visit family who lives downtown. The location was perfect. Be prepared to find parking. The house is very small so there was no unpacking to get comfortable. However, for a short visit it was great.

Great for Me & My Dog

I needed a small place with a yard for passing of a wonderful rescue dog to her new forever owner. We didnā€™t require much space, and this was perfect. Communication with the property manager was spot on. It was super clean and well stocked (towels, toilet paper, dishes, etc) Cute village area of town., restaurants within walking distance. I was traveling alone and felt safe. The only meh thing was parking because there is no designated spot. Loved it and would stay again.
