Recently renovated historic manor nestled in quiet wooded 4-acre estate by Stadium and West Broadway less than a mile from Columbia Mall and 2.5 miles from the MU campus for easy access to sporting events and graduations. City bus stop to downtown at Broadway side of the property. Two-story red brick home with two-story columns, 4br, 3.5 baths, modern open plan kitchen-dining area, parlor, & great room. Ideal for outdoor gatherings with spacious screened porch and multi-level brick patios in back shielded from neighbors by trees and a second new contemporary design home on the estate.

Warm and spacious house...

This newly renovated historian house is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a larger group. We had a party of 10 guests and had plenty of room. Not only was it spacious, but homey and immaculate as well with comfy beds. The hosts, Ed and Yang, could not have been more hospitable and attentative to our needs. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful, historic home - perfect for family trip home for the holidays

Our visit began with a warm welcome from the hosts with a thorough introduction to the home. We appreciated meeting the hosts who texted a few times during the visit to make sure everything was ok. We didn’t need anything, but it was comforting to have the contact. The home is beautifully laid out to provide private, restorative space for those seeking quiet solitude, and also has comfortable, spacious gathering areas when we all wanted to be together. The home was perfect for our group of four adults and four young adult children. We especially enjoyed playing games by the fire in the large family room. We highly recommend this beautiful and historic home.

Incredible Home!

This house is amazing and was perfect for our weekend in Columbia. The home is close to the Mizzou campus, which was perfect for dining out and going to the football game. The hosts are kind and genuinely appreciative of each guest in their home. It was the best vrbo experience from booking to check-out I've ever had. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanted to reconnect with friends and family and have plenty of space. Thank you for providing us a safe, clean, and meaningful experience last weekend.

Wonderful property!

Communication and hospitality was above and beyond any other stay I have experienced. Owerns were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. The property itself is gorgeous and well kept. It also provides space for so many event possibilities. We 100% recommend staying here and we will probably use this location again as well.

The property is lovely. It was perfect for my large family. The rooms are much larger than they appear in the photographs. There are great gathering areas . . . and areas to get away. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive.

Fantastic Dads Weekend

We had four dads in town for our sons fraternity dad's weekend. Ed and Yang are fantastic hosts and allowed us to host a small afternoon gathering of other dads and sons. Many dads said this was the highlight of the weekend. The house is great for entertaining and is very well equipped. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Truly Magical!!

We hosted a small 60th wedding anniversary for my grandparents and everything about the stay was PERFECT. Ed & Yang are so attentive and genuinely kind people. The property was spotless and gorgeous. I can't recommend this venue enough!!!

I cannot say enough about this beautiful estate!

The hosts, Ed and Yung are so sweet and checked in on us, and went above and beyond. Our sons college graduation was such a special family event with grandparents and siblings. The house had everything we needed and more. I heard many times that the house was the perfect place to get together! We all slept great in wonderful beds and the bathrooms are big and beautiful! With all the new finishes while keeping the charm of the house. We were so close to downtown and campus! Do not wait to book this property! The backyard was such a tranquil spot :)

Grand retreat in college town

Yang an Ed were the best hosts ever. We invited them to join us at a few of our gatherings, international reporters, mostly from South Asia. One night, Yang cooked a Nepalese feast for us. They accommodated several changes in our bookings, adding nights on short notice. We’ve placed Fellows in big houses for the past six years, and this was by far the best experience.

AMAZING!!!!

We came to Columbia for my sons State wrestling tournament. First, Ed and Yang met us at the home, they greeted us with a gift basket and gave us a tour of the home. The home is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN and very ‘HOMEY’. We got hit with some bad weather for the weekend and they were so accommodating. They checked on us every single day. They shoveled the snow from the walkway several times throughout the day for us. The house was so spacious for the 7 of us. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE. Usually when I’m staying away from home, I have trouble sleeping, but not this time. I slept comfortably. If I could recommend this home to anyone and everyone, I DO! Ed and Yang are AMAZING! They’re so caring and I will not hesitate to contact them the next time my family travels to Columbia!

Adult Birthday Party 🥳

I turned 30…something 😁 and I wanted a beautiful space to celebrate with my friends. This Historic home was the perfect location! We were able to go out and enjoy Columbia with easy. Everyone was in love with this stunning home and we made wonderful memories!❤️

Country home on 4 acres in the city WOW

Ed and Yang are top notch hosts. The greeted us on arrival, showed us the beautiful home, had very nice welcome gifts. The house is a classic some built in the 1800’s most built in the 1930’s. Everything works great, kitchen is ready prepare meals. Their pictures of the house are accurate. There is a few more TV’s than expected (which was great for us). I am highly recommending this property. If we return to Columbia we will be staying here.

Wonderful Experience!!

The property is beautiful and welcoming. Our hosts were absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! They gifted us with a beautiful basket of goodies upon arrival and showed us around this wonderful historic home in the heart of Columbia close to everything. I would highly recommend this property and I would definitely stay again. Thank you Ed & Yang for a great visit!!
