Best Western Mexico is the only hotel worth staying at in town as it is premier in cleanliness and hospitality. Our complaint is with both BW and Expedia. Initially our party of 4 thought we might room together, but when we decided it would be best to get 2 rooms Expedia wanted to charge us an additional $124 to do a room swap from 2 queen to a king on our 1st booking. It isn't like the hotel was full. Far from it! What a rip off. So we booked an additional room and kept our original booking with 2 queen beds which I am still questioning if they were queen. When we arrived our room wasn't ready 1.25 hour after check in. We had nearly a whole day without TV, the first day the coffee and juice machine was down at breakfast. Usually BW provides a couple of complimentary bottled water and granola bars upon arrival. They have since done away with that. We hate to see that. As small as the gesture may be it goes a long way with us as we are repeat customers. Someone in our family is usually staying there 4-6x/yr. We didn't get any housekeeping services or linen swap except our last evening. The side door was broken for an unknown period of time thus anyone could come and go as they please. My poor parents in their 70s were awakened to a dog barking right outside their door one night around 10:30. Maybe getting a little loosy goosy on pet policies. We are all for the pets, but precisely why we didnt bring ours is because they are not well behaved to stay in a hotel.
