Great little cabin in the woods!

My wife and I stayed in Bear Den Cabin for a long weekend following her birthday. Our only free weekend with four kids being in traveling sports. It was amazing! Waking up to drinking coffee on the patio and watching the deer run around, or sitting in the hot tub relaxing watching the snow fall. Much needed R&R. Thanks again! We will be back!-Joey & Jenna

Honeymoon Getaway

We loved our stay at Bear Den! You can barely see any other cabins around you so it felt very private and secluded. We loved the hot tub and the back deck. The fireplace inside was so easy to use and cozy! Bear Den is great to spend time relaxing and disconnecting.

Peaceful

The property was secluded enough that we were blessed w peace and quiet. The only small complaint we world have is the overwhelming smell of the air freshener to cover up the septic smell I'm assuming. We had to unplug them all as they were to strong of a smell. Other than that it was a beautiful place to relax.

Weekend Getaway

We LOVED our stay at the Bear Den Cabin! My fiancé and I were looking for a relaxing couple of days in the mountains in a new area of Colorado, when we came across Pike's Peak Resort. This was the perfect weekend trip, the hosts were so kind and helpful with any questions we had. Their directions to the cabin were very helpful. They provided lots of information on trails and things to do in the area. The cabin was cozy and provided everything we needed. I definitely want to make a trip back to Pike's Peak Resort. I highly recommend Pike's Peak to anyone considering. Thank you for such a great stay:)

Quiet and secluded

The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Colorado. It was clean, bed was very comfortable, and host very responsive. Our favorite part was enjoying coffee on the deck in the morning and the stars from the hot tub at night. We appreciated the quiet and peaceful time at the cabin. We enjoyed hiking the property and saw many deer, including a brand new baby fawn and three elk. So much to do and experience within an hours drive, but everything we enjoyed most was at the cabin or on the property! 10/10 highly recommend! We will be back.

Beautiful Cabin Just As Described

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Den Cabin celebrating our 10th anniversary. The cabin was clean and just as described in the listing. As an added bonus, we even got to meet the owner's sweet dog, Breck, one morning. I enjoyed getting to pet on him while missing my own dogs back at home. The drive out to the property is beautiful and full of wildlife. Whenever we eventually visit the area again in the future, we will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely private and great for our honeymoon!

I wish we could have spent more time at the cabin, but it was super private and perfect for a few nights on our honeymoon. There were two robes waiting for us, and it was great to sit in the hot tub under the stars. The only thing I will say is that it is VERY remote, which we loved but just be prepared. Id recommend driving in the sunlight with an all wheel drive vehicle. We loved it!!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I booked this cabin for a quick weekend trip to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we loved every second of it. We were already trying to figure out when we could come back before we had even checked out. It had everything we needed, including all toiletries, robes and fuzzy blankets. It was so quiet that you could hear birds flying above you, and we had quite a few deer visitors each morning. It snowed the morning we checked in but we were able to get to the cabin after dark with our 2WD full size SUV; we're both from Colorado Springs and are pretty used to driving on snowy roads, but I would 100% recommend AWD or 4WD to others who might not be so used to it.

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved this cabin! We love the seclusion of it! It was clean, neatly decorated and had everything that we needed for cooking or just our stay. We enjoyed getting to watch the wildlife every day as well. If we decided to come back to the area we would definitely be booking here again! Thank you Gary and Sharylin for the best stay!

Pikes Peak Resort

Wonderful experience in a charming cabin. All the amenities we could ask for including visits from the local wildlife. Watching the deer graze is a memory that will last a life time. We were lucky we discovered this hidden gem!

Birthday getaway!

WOW! I wish I could put this property into words, but I don't think it is possible. Gary and Sharilyn truly have a little slice of heaven. My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate his 30th birthday and our honeymoon, and the Bear Den cabin was perfection. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the hot tub, played tons of Yahtzee, and lounged around 90% of the trip. We did venture around the property a bit, and took the Pike's Peak drive, but really there was no reason to leave the cabin. It was clean, fully stocked, and had all the creature comforts you could want. I chose this cabin above all the others because it still felt luxurious while being secluded away up in the mountains. So, so good! **The only thing that I would change is some of the kitchen stuff. They had everything you need appliance/dish/utensil wise, but no spices at all. We grilled every night and so we had to buy spices at the store and bring them in. I left them in the cupboard hoping they would keep them for the next guests as it seems silly to throw those away after each stay, but that is a very, VERY small negative that is definitely outweighed by the abundant amount of positives. Book your trip now, and make it for a day or two longer than planned. We didn't want to leave!

Relaxation Getaway

My boyfriend & I had an amazing time. We LOVED the cabin & the property. We are both extremely neat & clean so we were both happy with the cleanliness & look of the cabin. Everything was set up well, instructions were easy to follow. We enjoyed the quite & deer.
