The Good
Linda was on top of all communication and responded promptly. Early check-in could not be accommodated as they were cleaning- which we understood, but they do have a 11am checkout- which I thought was good- unlike some places which required you to check out at 10am. I also appreciated her thoughtfulness of keeping a quick snack goodie bag with water as a welcome kit- that was a nice gesture. The location is in a residential neighborhood, but some of the shopping (groceries)- requires you drive out a few miles- So plan on having transportation.
The beds in both rooms were comfortable with enough pillows to accommodate 4 people.
Not so Good
There was limited counter space and no formal kitchen, although- that was advertised in the listing- so we were prepared, but still the space felt too constrained to have more than 1 person standing nearby.
The stand-in shower (which we didn't realize from pictures) was too compact and we kept banging the walls and the door. Also the hot water, water pressure was to be desired and labels and shower knobs were out of sync. This did not bother us- as we are used to showering in luke warm water and the weather was warm outside- but something to be mindful, if you are looking to take long hot showers - then this bathroom is not the one for you. Also the bathroom doors- didn't lock as one could open the door from outside- which created some aha moments/squeal on the first day :)
Overall good house with limited kitchen and stand-in shower options, but served our need to go and visit the places we wanted to near Colorado Springs. A lot of good restaurants, shopping are after Woodward ave ( 5-6 miles from property)- so be prepared to drive.
