Cozy Home with Spa & Fire Pit, by Forest & Peak Retreats

The photos speak for themselves. Experience Colorado Springs with your partner or group in this tastefully updated century home. A high-end kitchen, designer furnishings, 4 BR's, 2 baths, and heated tile floors, as well as multiple intimate outdoor gathering areas - featuring a new hot tub, gas fire pit, hammock chair, porch swing, and a gas grill. Close to everything COS has to offer if you want, but you might not ever want to leave. Welcome to Three Oaks by Forest and Peak Retreats.

Please read entirely so you have a good idea of what you are booking, as we will stick to our cancellation policy.

We provide a high chair, baby gate, and portable crib for your convenience. In addition to the two kings and two queen beds, we also have a queen blow up air mattress.

We have a security camera facing both the front and back doors to monitor traffic. Both are outside and will be on during your stay.

If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking.

We do require an additional $50 per person per night, for any guest over our standard 8 count.

We are now accepting dogs! There will be dog bowls, bathroom bags, and a leash provided for you during your stay. Please be sure to include your pet in your guest list when booking. If not, upon arrival we will be immediately requesting the pet fee.
Please read the following rules for your furry friend:
-- You must clean up after your pet outside and inside. If we find any pet poop around or in the property, you will be charged a $250 "pet poop pickup fee."
-- Please do not leave your pet unattended or alone in the house, unless crated.
-- Please do not allow your pet in the hot tub or on our furniture.
-- You are responsible if there is any damage to the property from your pet during your stay.

Pet Fees:
-- One night stay is $75
-- 2-7 night stay is $150
-- 8+ nights is $250
-- If bringing two pets, we do require an additional $50 to the pet fee.

Exceptionally clean and well appointed. The backyard was very comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic. The lights in the master bedroom and dining room were very dim which was a bit of a bother but other than that, 5 stars all around.

One of the best properties that we have ever stayed at! This house was so well preserved and has so much character and charm. It was literally a cozy home away from home. Extremely clean. The hosts have thought of everything you might need and then some!! The location is perfect and close to so much: Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Downtown Colorado Springs, and more. We will be booking here again!!

Jonathan and Kelly were so friendly and helpful; they accommodated our last-minute early check in request, which was a huge relief after the stress of traveling. The home is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully stocked and decorated, and the fire pit/hot tub was a huge plus. We loved our stay.

The layout of the house was great! Nice size kitchen and the backyard was an amazing treat! And everything was very clean and comfortable. All the nice extras (toiletries, shampoo and body wash) were great products and made it even more comfortable.

Great home base for our family in Downtown/Old North End. Quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything we needed and great walking trail (Shooks Run) nearby. We took full advantage of the back area seating, fire pit, hot tub, etc. Great spot that is nicely updated but retains its late 1800s feel.

I stayed here with my family for a fathers and sons trip, and it honestly felt like my dream house. The home is full of character—beautiful hardwood floors, tall ceilings, and that perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort.There was plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy time together. The living areas were cozy and inviting, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the backyard was a major highlight. We spent our evenings around the firepit and even got some time in the hot tub—it was exactly what we needed to unwind and connect.The location was perfect too. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to downtown and the mountains for quick adventures or a morning walk.This wasn’t just a place to stay—it really added to the experience of our trip. We made some great memories here, and I’d absolutely come back. Highly recommend it for families or any group looking for a peaceful, welcoming space with a ton of charm.

Perfect fit!

I stayed here for a work trip with 2 co-workers. The house was perfect for the 3 of us and was very clean. We loved the kitchen and back deck. There was a nice park nearby that we walked to as well. Thank you for a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

Really appreciate the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts; such as stocked laundry, bathrooms, kitchen and cleaning basics, many hooks for towels, and coats. Excellent location with access to a running trail, downtown and Colorado Cillege. We will be back!

Everything has that little extra!

As a VRBO landlord I was impressed with this rental. Every detail was thought through and there were many unique extras you don't normally find. Extra toiletries, plenty of coffee for the entire stay, plenty of towels, and easy access to the Hot Tub. The house is well taken care of and complete. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, Convenient and Welcoming

From the first moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The lights were on for our late arrival. Drinks and snacks provided as well. Incredibly comfortable and clean home. Everything you could need or want for an extended stay. Not a single complaint other than we didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit! We will be staying here again as it was conveniently located to Downtown, Old Town, shops and restaurants. Safe and lovely area. We had coffee/breakfast multiple times just down the road, walking distance. Highly recommend!

The touches that mean everything!

We travel a lot! I mean a lot! As an over thinker and someone who truly appreciates an eye for detail I always find while stays are great there are always little things here and there I think about what I would have done differently to make some thing a just a bit easier or more memorable. Not this time. I was blown away. Everything I have ever thought a property was lacking in the past, this one had it. These touches not only make things easier but are so incredibly thoughtful and we just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the property. What touches you ask? Here is a long list of what they did that was above and beyond what’s typical! 1. A portable fan in every room 2. Extra blankets in every room 3. Hooks in the shower and on the back of every bathroom door 4. Plenty of hangars 5. Extra toothbrushes, travel toothpaste and razors 6. Hampers in every room 7. Welcome snacks, bottle of wine and waters in fridge 8. Organization rack on the back patio for propane lighters, towels, post use sanitizer for the hot tub 9. Hooks on a post beside the hot tub for towels 10. They even have a corner lamp that has a floor button so they secured it under the side table so you can reach it. The house was exceptionally clean. At first the early check out and late check in time was off putting but I see why. EVERYTHING is professionally cleaned. Pressed sheets, all of the throw blankets all freshly laundered. It was impeccable.

Unforgettable Stay: A Perfect VRBO Experience

Absolutely Fantastic Stay for Our Family Reunion! We recently stayed at this VRBO for a family reunion, with relatives coming together from three different states, and it was perfect! The home comfortably accommodated all of us with its two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, providing ample space and for everyone. Being a family of 4 staying in the 2 bedrooms upstairs was ok to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom at night. The property was immaculate upon arrival – incredibly clean and well-maintained. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, which provided wonderful opportunities for relaxation and family bonding under the stars. The layout of the house was ideal for our group. The cozy design made it easy for us to have conversations and spend quality time together, whether we were in the kitchen, living room, or dining room. Additionally, the location was fantastic. It offered both convenience and tranquility, allowing us to explore the area while also enjoying peaceful moments at the house. Overall, this VRBO exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it for any family gatherings or group vacations. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our family to create lasting memories!

Cute and Quirky Stay Close to CC and DT

This is a well appointed, updated home and we enjoyed our short stay but were surprised by the late check-in (5pm) and early check-out (10 am). We were also surprised that the main-floor bathroom is only accessible via a bedroom and that you need to walk through the queen BR on the second floor to access the 4th (2nd King) BR. The house is located on a street with a bus line and can be noisy, but the back-yard is well appointed and relatively private/quiet. The owners were very communicative and the house was well stocked.
