"We really enjoyed our stay! We booked this hotel for the private beach access, and it was exactly what we wanted. Even though we stayed on the motel side near the street, the beach was less than a five-minute walk away. The private access leads directly to the beach, making it incredibly convenient. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they were perfect for our family since we only used them to shower, change, nap, and relax between beach trips. Items like a blow dryer and iron are available...

"Room requires general maintenance, bed in acceptable condition, towels worn out due to use, insufficient heating even when the thermostat is set to maximum temperature. Hot breakfast with omelette with cheese, fruit and cereal."

"The pool was nice. Breakfast was fine we had to wait pretty long for towels etc— when they were delivered the wash cloths were grey and very stained - looked like cleaning rags. Also, while I understand dogs are permitted, I don’t think they should be in the area while breakfast is being served. Overall, it was disappointing considering the cost of the room."

"I had asked for the room to be serviced atleast 4 times. Although front desk staff was very polite and said it’s called in, they never did. It was the same situation for the other family we traveled with. So essentially lived in uncleared bathroom which got full of sand and no way of cleaning it."

"Very easy to check in room was ready when we got there. Rooms were clean. Staff was polite easy access to the beach and we also like that. We were only there for three days and we got a short term rental for that instead of having to book the whole week, we just wanted a long weekend we would recommend the sea ranch resort to anyone. We had a great time."

"Everything about the Island House was fabulous! The host, Bernie and Kenny are great and prepared wonderful breakfast and snacks, especially the carrot cake with cream cheese icing! The location is good also, conveniently located to everything. We definitely hope to come back soon!🌸"

"The room was clean but the use of a high fragrance cleaner gave us a headache. Thankfully we were able to air it out a little. We never came in contact with staff. The property was well maintained for being beach side and the rooms being newly renovated was pleasant. For the price and what we got it was very fair."

"Very cute hotel. The beach is only a couple minute walk but you do cross a little road and go up some stairs so plan accordingly if you do plan to bring a wagon. Overall great experience."

"The staff were so hospitable and the breakfast was amazing! Our shower nozzle was a little messed up and the doors seemed to have needed some maintenance but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed our stay greatly and would come back again!"

"It was clean. Centrally located. Pools were closed. Interior was clean but exterior balcony had lots of bird poop on railings. Just not sanitary. A very 1960s/1970s feel."
